ISA Construction Networking Event of the Year Brings High Attendance and Ample Networking Opportunities
Last week, Indiana’s best and brightest individuals in the construction industry gathered for the Indiana Subcontractors Association Construction Networking Event of the Year (ISA CNEY), and we were thrilled to have planned and attended the event. With more than 1,000 people registered to attend, the event featured a keynote speaker, an awards program which recognized the top general contractors in the industry, and as the name implies, ample networking.
This year’s location, the JW Marriott in downtown Indy, was a beautiful setting for a day of education, recognition and fun. The exhibit hall floor featured 98 exhibits and ISA’s well-known networking pavilion. Over lunch, attendees enjoyed a presentation from Ruben Gonzalez, a four-time Olympic luger, who shared the importance of perseverance and teamwork – both of which are incredibly important in the construction industry.
At The Mattison Corporation, we have been proud to have the Indiana Subcontractors Association as a client for more than 20 years. Strategizing, planning and executing this event, like most events, took an incredible amount of time. Luckily, myself and others who assist with ISA are passionate about not just event planning but also the great work that ISA does.
For this event, The Mattison Corporation was involved every step of the way. We found and booked the event location, handled all the attendee invites and the registration process, secured the guest speaker, organized the awards program, put together a layout for the tradeshow portion of the day, worked with sponsors and much more.
The hard work we put in did not go unnoticed by attendees and ISA. We saw a spike in non-member attendance and experienced high attendance numbers for the event, which is a sign that people are spreading the word about this annual gathering!
This year’s ISA CNEY is only days behind us, but we are already looking forward to next year’s event where we’ll feature an expanded exhibit hall, educational offerings and even more opportunities for people to make new connections in the construction industry.
